Just about 36 hours after the big announcement that Southside Oil, parent company of Uppy’s Convenience Stores, purchased 172 stores in Maryland and Northern Virginia, the company swept Richmond off its feet and won the GRCC’s IMPACT Award. We told the Impact Award committee that if they didn’t pick us they should pick our client, Uppy’s. And we’re very happy they did.
